Christina Haack, born on 7 July 1983, in Anaheim California. Her first job following school was that of a real estate agent. Tarek El-Moussa, her future husband, also worked in this business. Following the 2008 collapse of the stock market many investors in real estate as well as house flippers lost their money. As a result of the financial crisis, Tarek and Christina El Moussa were close to losing all their assets. Their house was valued at just $700 per week compared to the $6,000 they had been paying per month for their home. The economy as well as their business gradually rebounded. HGTV & Rise to Fame Tarek asked an acquaintance to create a HGTV audition video in the year 2011 featuring him along with Christina flipping a whole home. The tape landed in hands of executives at the production company Pie Town Productions. These executives were in love to Tarek, Christina and their tale. They officially signed a contract with HGTV in the year 2012. "Flip of Flop" was launched in April 2013. The show aired 92 seasons between 2013 between 2013 and 2017. Christina and Tarek, who appeared on the show, bought homes, typically mid-income properties in Orange County. Tarek is in charge of demolition, renovations and design. Christina keeps everything running according to schedule.
