Kristen Anne Bell (born 1980) is a popular American actor and singer. Parents were Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier, both television news directors. Her family was born in Huntington Woods Michigan. The mother of Kristen is Polish and her father German, English Irish and Scottish. Kristen found her talent in entertainment as a young stage of her life. She won her role as Raggedy Ann in 1992 after going to the first audition. Bell's mom signed her up with an agency just before her 13th birthday. She was then featured in TV commercials as well as newspaper advertisements. In addition, she is beginning private acting lessons. Bell played a brief, uncredited role as a character in Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell was a part of the music and drama club in Shrine Catholic High School. Bell was chosen to play the lead role as Dorothy in the school's play The Wizard of Oz. Bell was then transferred into New York City, to the Tisch School of the Arts. She studied musical theater at the Tisch School of the Arts. Bell left the university in 2001 to take on the character of Becky of Tom Sawyer. In the same year, she starred in Pootie Tang however, the scene in which Bell made an appearance was cut. In the end, the credit sequence is all that exists. The year 2002 saw her first major role. Bell appeared in her first Broadway revival of The Crucible with Liam Neeson as well as Angela Bettis.
