Alanis Morissette

Alanis Nadine was born in Ottawa, Canada, on the 1st of June 1974. Alanis' Greek name is an empathetic version of her father's last name, Alan. She has two siblings: Chad (Alanis twin) as well as Wade. She first started playing piano and guitar when she turned 21. Alanis made a hit single in 1986 called Fate Stay With Me (b-side : Find The Right Man). She recorded two albums as a dance-pop performer throughout Canada: Alanis (1991) and This Is The Time (1992).
